adidas looks to the 90s for inspiration to update the EQT Gazelle
It’s been a busy release week across all the brands. Nike just dropped the Air Max 200, while New Balance unveiled their latest retro-inspired sneaker, the X-Racer. Last month, adidas beat them to it with the release of the Ozweego. This weekend, adidas Originals adds one more player to the mix with the EQT Gazelle.
Over the last few years, adidas Originals have mastered the archive-meets-technology formula. For the EQT Gazelle, adidas uses suppler leather of the original sneaker combined with textured overlays, a hologram tongue logo, and an updated EVA midsole for a brand new look. This weekend, adidas Originals is releasing a boatload of colorways for both men and women, all utilizing 90s color palettes.
The adidas Originals EQT Gazelle drops tomorrow, July 20th, across adidas Originals and Home Court stores as well as other adidas retailers such as Sole Academy. The EQT Gazelle retails for Php 6,800. You can purchase the shoes as well via the adidas online store at 9:59am on the 20th.
