Foot Locker is opening their first store very soon

Posted on Dec 1, 2022 in Foot Locker

After announcing their arrival back in August, Foot Locker is set to open their first “Power Store” in the Philippines at Glorietta this December.

Yes, after months and months of waiting, we now have a date and location. The new store is located at the 2nd floor of Glorietta 3, and is set to open on December 16. The store is huge, with over 1,400 square meters of retail space. Aside from your usual wall of kicks set up, Foot Locker brings their “Foot Locker for her” lounge and a dedicated section for kids. With interactive zones and special retail executions, the store is sure to be another destination for shoe heads this holiday season. Foot Locker PH will also launch their website www.footlockerph for consumers who prefer that online purchase.

To further inspire and empower the local market, Foot Locker Philippines looks forward to supporting the local scene, be it in sports, dance, art and everything in between. To kick things off, they’ve teamed up with local illustrator and artist Raizel Go (@GoRaiseHell) as well as photographer Jilson Tiu (@jilson.tiu) for their in-store art and visual setup.

“We are incredibly excited to bring our love of sneakers to the Philippines,” said Natalie Ellis,
General Manager and Vice President, Foot Locker Asia Pacific. “The opening of our first Power
Store marks an important milestone as we continue to create unrivaled experiences for our
customers across the globe.”

Nicholas Jones, CEO of MAP Active (PT Map Aktif Adiperkasa Tbk), said that MAPA is highly
enthusiastic to be able to open Foot Locker stores in the Philippines. “This is a strategic step to
expand and strengthen our network in marketing well-known sneaker brands with a variety of
innovative and latest product variants to answer the needs of the Indonesian market. The
collaboration with a local artist and a photographer is also proof of our seriousness in working on
the potential of the Philippine market with various local wisdoms,” said Nicholas.

While Foot Locker has shared their brand lineup and store exclusives, one can only imagine what will be made available to shoe enthusiasts from all over.
