adidas Originals takes inspiration from Joshua Tree for the latest A-ZX release

Posted on Aug 14, 2020 in Adidas

After kicking off the 2020 A-ZX Series last weekend with the ZX 1000 Retro (Re), adidas unveils another piece to the collection slated to drop next weekend. For the letter ‘N’, adidas Originals partners with the National Park Foundation for their rendition of the ZX 5000. With the intent to remind us of the importance of preserving our parks, the collab takes inspiration from the Joshua Tree National Park.

With Joshua Tree’s landscape as the setting, the colors, the monzogranite boulders, the ZX 5000 takes a tonal pink and purple colorway with orange hits throughout. The upper features CORDURA nylon and nubuck overlays. Reflective laces go with the Joshua Tree graphic found on the tongue and sockliner.

The adidas ZX 5000 ‘National Parks’ drops next Friday, August 21 via the adidas.com.ph site and adidas app. The shoe retails for Php 7,000. Check out more images below.

The adidas ZX 8000 ‘Superstar’ is now available via adidas.com.ph for Php 7,500. The adidas ZX 1000 ‘Retro’ is still available here.
