adidas is set to release another SOLAR HU NMD this weekend

After releasing the SOLARHU Glide last September, adidas Originals and Pharrell continue the Hu series with their latest collection. Taking inspiration from the fearless colors and bold patterns of East Africa, Pharrell continues experiments on prints and textures. With the belief that through sport we all have the power to transform lives, the collection draws on the tradition of long distance running. The region has been synonymous to the sport and it’s only fitting for adidas and Pharrell to take notice.

Done in four new bold colorways – Power Blue, Clear Blue, Black and White – each shoe features a printed collar. This design aesthetic evokes East African weaving techniques using several colors. This design ethos cuts across the entire collection, be it the footwear or accompanying apparel. Continuing to motivate through language, the words ‘Empower’ and ‘Inspire’ are embroidered in Chinese. The contrasting cages complement the Primeknit uppers, completing the colorful pack.

The adidas Originals by Pharrell Williams SOLARHU NMD capsule collection drops this Saturday, November 10. Each pair retails for Php 13,000 and will be available at the adidas Originals Neighborhood stores as well as the adidas PH webstore. Commonwealth is slated to release the pack sometime next week.
