VANS releases their 2nd drop of the VANS x ATCQ collection

Earlier this month, Vans released their collaboration with hip hop legends A Tribe Called Quest. We were pretty stoked about having their collection available in market. After releasing several low tops the last time around, we’re getting our first high top, the SK8 Hi, and an Old Skool paying homage to one of the best albums of all time.

First up we have SK8 Hi in mellow yellow. The shoe pays homage to one of the group’s most popular hits, Bonita Applebum. Aside from the bright leather uppers, the song’s lyrics are found on the laces while the famous “38-24-37” vitals are found on the shoe’s inner collar. Embroideries are found throughout, while a co-branded logo is found on the shoe’s insole.

If high tops aren’t your thing, Vans also released an Old Skool as part of the collection. The Old Skool is done in black with the famous black/red/green print resembling the group’s 2nd album, the Low End Theory. The color blocking has been synonymous with the brand and the group’s album titles are printed on the shoe’s laces for that added design.

The ATCQ x VANS Sk8 Hi and Old Skool ATCQ are now available at select Vans stores, The Nines and Commonwealth.
