New: Vans and Hockey release their latest collection
I’m not skater, but I know good shoes when I see ’em. Vans, one of the originators, recently announced their latest collaboration with skateboad brand Hockey. The two brands first got together back in 2018, now bringing three new iterations of the Skate Old Skool and Skate Authentic Hi.
Hockey brings their attitude and ethos through this collection, as seen on the bold prints and design choices. The Skate Old Skool comes in two colorways – one in black/gum and the other in white with snake skin embellishments throughout. the Hockey logo comes in bold red block lettering seen on both pairs. The Skate Old Skool retails for Php 6,998 and is now available at the following locations: Vans Greenbelt 3, Glorietta 3, SM Megamall, Ayala Cebu, Trinoma, Festival Mall, SM North Edsa, Robinsons Ermita, Alabang Town Center, and UP Town Center.
The Skate Authentic Hi is done in brown canvas. Andrew Allen’s sneaker boasts the Hockey logo by the collar. The collaboration also comes in special packaging, a nod to Allen’s dog Ronnie. The Skate Authentic Hi goes for Php 7,998 and will be available only at the Greenbelt 3, Glorietta 3, SM Megamall and Ayala Cebu locations.
While they may be aesthetically pleasing, there’s more to these pairs under the hood. The pairs feature the brand’s PopCush™ insoles for better comfort and energy return. They’ve also added Duracap reinforcements for wear and tear, and added SickStick™ rubber outsoles for all-conditions grip and stability.
Make sure to drop by Vans this weekend for their collaboration with Hockey, now available.
