Dropping this Weekend: RHUDE x Vans Bold Ni

After their recent collaboration with PUMA earlier this year, California’s RHUDE partners this time with Vans for their own take on the Bold Ni. Rhude takes inspiration from the SoCal vibe with the classic license plates for their special project.

With both Vans and RHUDE based in Cali, Rhude takes Vans’ classic plate print and adds it on to the Bold Ni’s vulc midsoles. This weekend, we get a taste of the blue and black renditions of the shoe, with each having a special story to it. The black suede pair features plates that were introduced in 1963, featuring gold numbers and an embossed California logo. The blue pair features plates that released in 1969, with its blue suede uppers and blue RHUDE branding. The red pairs features the California Sunshine plate that dropped in 1982. All three pairs feature the giant Jazz Stripes, leather heel liners and the vulcanized midsoles.

The RHUDE x Vans Bold Ni drops today in blue and black at Commonwealth and Akimbo. Each pair retails for Php 6,998. Commonwealth offered the pairs via Copdate yesterday, while Akimbo is offering the pairs on a first come, first serve basis across their locations.
