Dub Nation, this one’s for you!

Dub Nation, where ya at? With Stephen Curry ballin’ out of his mind this season, it seems only right for Curry Brand to take a look back and pay homage to where he started. Today, Steph’s first shoe, the Curry One, comes in the Dub Nation colorway for the first time in Asia. The Warrior-esque colorway first dropped in May 2015 as he was leading the Dubs to the WCF en route to their first title in 40+ years. It’s pretty amazing to look back and realize that Warriors fans or Curry fans in Asia never had the luxury of owning this colorway.

The ‘Dub Nation’ colorway is definitely a tribute to Golden State Warriors fans. The white upper is paired with its speckled blue midsole and bright yellow outsole, a call back to the team’s home uniform. There are other details added to the shoe such as the MMTB acronym found on the aglets which translate to ‘Make May Teammates Better’ and the “4:13′ found on the tongue which is the now popular verse from the Bible “I can do all things”, which is also found on the shoe’s interior lining.

In terms of the tech under the hood, the Curry One features the brand’s AnaFoam and Charged Cushioning. The AnaFoam provides superior fit, while being lightweight. Charged Cushioning on the other hand provides impact absorption like never before and converts that energy for responsiveness.
