VARSITY HEAT: WEEK 4.1

While we are expecting the heat to come from today’s Ateneo-La Salle game, here’s some pre-heat from earlier this week. Last Wednesday, we saw UST go up against La Salle and FEU go head to head with National U. It’s becoming a trend — players still love playing in Kobes. The Kobe AD NXT 360 has been a favorite across the league and we saw frosh CJ Cansino, NU’s Shaun Ildefonso and Dave Yu wear them on court. However, this week’s early winner goes to FEU’s Wendell Comboy for his Kobe AD iDs. Donning a yellow upper to go with their school kits, Comboy’s iD has his #10 by the heel and the initials “W & C” on the tongue. Other notables on court were the Tigers’ PG 2.5 ‘Moon Exploration’ (seen on Marvin Lee & Co.), Ken Tuffin wearing the PG2 ‘March Madness’
