Varsity Heat: UAAP Finals Game 2

It’s been a crazy season and it finally came to an end last Wednesday as the Ateneo Blue Eagles pummeled the UP Fighting Maroons 99-81 to take home the UAAP Men’s Basketball trophy. You’ve read everything about the series, all the storylines and angles, so we won’t even go there. What we’re here for is the heat. For the last edition of Varsity Heat, the shoes were few and far between but definitely packed some serious heat. Prior to Game 2, both Juan Gomez de Liano and Ange Kouame rocked the Grails – the Air Jordan XI Retro ‘Concord’ – to the UAAP Awards ceremony. Juan eventually switched to the LEBRON 16 ‘King’ while Ange wore his trusty Kobe AD Mid ‘March Madness’. Sean Manganti, the League’s Most Improved Player, went old school and rocked Bred 1s.
