SLAM PH and Sole Movement present VARSITY HEAT
Aren’t you glad that it’s college basketball season? All eight schools that comprise the UAAP have retooled and revamped their rosters, all hoping to bring home the trophy for the 81st season. While the game has been the primary focus, there’s also another reason why we’re at the games: the Kicks.
We got together with SLAM Philippines to bring you Varsity Heat – a collection of kicks on the feet of players and fans alike. We’re only 3 weeks in and it seems like some players are gunning for the Sneaker MVP trophy from the get go. Thirdy Ravena and Juan Gomez De Liano are clear frontrunners (expected), although there have been some surprises (Sean Manganti, Mike Nieto) from the bunch.
