Saucony releases the Freedom ISO “Tokyo Marathon” this weekend at Ironman PH
If you’re headed on over to Subic this weekend for the first-ever Full Ironman to be staged in the Philippines, you might want to check out a special release from our friends at Saucony. The Freedom ISO dropped a few months back and got rave reviews for the shoe’s performance. As multi-sport athletes embrace their inner Ironman, Saucony decided to release the “Tokyo Marathon” edition of their successful runner.
In partnership with Tokyo-based designer Garageland, the Freedom ISO takes on an eye-catching design inspired by “Sakura” / cherry blossoms infused with traditional Japanese checkered patterns. Two colorways are dropping this weekend, a Black/Citron for men and a Black/Pink for women. The pattern is seen on the highly durabl TRI-FLEX crystal rubber outsole, which provides flex and durability. The Freedom ISO also features the brand’s full-length EVERUN midsole, giving the athlete excellent energy return and continuous cushioning. The upper is made of a lightweight stretch mesh, with Saucony’s ISOFIT dynamic system, keeping the foot in place with every stride.
The Saucony Freedom ISO “Tokyo Marathon” will be available in limited sizes at Saucony booth at the Century Tuna Ironman Expo located at the Subic Bay Exhibition & Convention Center (SBECC). The shoe will retail for Php 7,995 and will be alongside other running silhouettes. The Expo is free of charge and will be open from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm until the 3rd of June.
