Smiley celebrates their 50th Anniversary with their Reebok Collection

Man do I feel old.

While most millenials and new age sneaker/streetwear heads have been feenin’ for Chinatown Market, I grew up with the SMILEY. The original SMILEY icon’s been around for 50 yars and they are celebrating their iconic brand with a collaboration with Reebok.

The Reebok x SMILEY collaboration runs through footwear and apparel, all with the goal of spreading positvity and creativity. While we aren’t getting the full line on our shores, you can pick up the following:

Reebok Club C 85

Gradients of orange and yellow can be seen throughout the shoe, all generating feelings of happiness and optimism. The tongue, heel and upper all evoking the classic SMILEY logo and icon. The Club C 85 retails for Php 5,395.

Reebok Shaq Attaq

Pastel colors adorn the Shaq Attaq, something you initially wouldn’t expect from the Diesel’s first signature shoe. The SMILEY logo can be seen right beside the Reebok vector, including a SMILEY Pump on the tongue. The Reebok Shaq Attaq ‘SMILEY’ retails for Php 8,895.

Reebok Classic Leather

To round out the local release for the Reebok x SMILEY collection is the Classic Leather in black. Psychedelic terry cloth replaces the leather tongue and lining, with the co-branded logo found on the tongue, heel and mid panels. The SMILEY x Reebok Classic Leather retails for Php 5,495.

Aside from the three pairs seen here, the Reebok x SMILEY collection also features apparel – tees, crewnecks, tracksuit, shorts and a hoodie to round things out. The collection is now available at the newly opened Reebok store at SM Megamall and select Sports Central stores.
