New: Reebok’s dropping Angel Reese 1 this September

After teasing the shoe earlier this year and wearing them on court this season, Reebok and Angel Reese are set to release the Angel Reese 1 this September.
After a successful release of the Engine A earlier this year, Reebok continues their return to basketball, this time with the release of Reese’s first signature shoe with the brand. Fusing performance innovation and expressive design, the Angel Reese 1 is built to match Reese’s dynamic on-court dominance and culture-driving presence off it.
“This isn’t just a shoe, it’s my style, my story, and my stamp on the game,” said Reese. “I wanted to design a basketball shoe that elevates performance, innovation, style, and creative expression, all at once. Reebok and I built something that’s true to who I am, and I hope it pushes others to stand in their power too. At the end of the day, it’s built for basketball – made to move and perform at the highest level.”
In terms of the shoe’s design, the Angel Reese 1 features the brand’s Energy Return System (ERS) underfoot while supported by a molded TPU Upper. The shoe offers stability and durability for the physical demands in the post. The design team took inspiration from the brand’s Mobius line (think Kamikaze, the Blast, Shaqnosis), using the exoskeleton upper into the shape of a wing, with color palettes and materials that reflect Reese’s legacy. The upper cut outs are properly ventilated with mesh panels for better breathability. Lastly, the shoe also comes with a high-abrasion multi-direction rubber outsole, for grad-A traction and grip.
When the shoe drops September 18, with three (yes, you read that right, 3) colorways – ‘Diamond Dust’, ‘Meounds’, and ‘Receipts Ready’. The pairs will drop globally on the day, including the PH. Reebok will also release a signature apparel collection alongside the footwear featuring graphic tees, sweatshirts, sweatpants, cropped tanks and more.
The Reebok Angel Reese 1 will retail for Php 7,195.
