New: Reebok continues to celebrate the brand’s heritage with the My Name Is collection
Reebok’s been around for quite some time and true to form, they continue to celebrate silhouettes that have made the brand what it is today. With the Reebok Vector celebrating its 30th this year, it was only fitting to re-introduce these iconic pairs to the next Generation.
The collection features the Classic Leather, Club C 85, BB 4000 II, and the LT Court. Featuring their names on the tongue (which is an update from the OG pairs). Done in clean leather uppers, the collection keeps it classy and ideal for every generation. One interesting take here is that they took these ’80s pairs but fused ’90s branding and color-blocking from their catalog. Here’s a breakdown of each silhouette:
Classic Leather “My Name Is” : The Classic Leather has the Vector logo on the heel, as well as ‘Classic Leather’ embroidered on the tongue. The Classic Leather retails for Php 4,995.
Club C 85 “My Name Is” : The shoe goes with an all white leather upper, with green hits on the logo, heel and chenille lining. “Club C” is embroidered on the tongue as well. The Club C 85 is set to release this coming week.
BB 4000 II “My Name Is”: We’ve seen the BB 4000 II on previous seasons but it was fitting to bring them back for this collection. A debossed on Union Jack logo is on the vector and tongue, with a suede toe guard for added texture to the leather upper. The color blocking is taken from the Omni Pump worn by Dee Brown back in the late 80s/early 90s. The shoe retails for Php 5,595.
LT Court “My Name Is”: Among the four pairs, the LT Court is sort of the “new one” of the bunch. We haven’t seen the LT Court retro’d in a while and it’s nice to see this ’80s court shoe back for 2023. With some color pops on the heel and quarter, the LT Court’s sure to stand out in today’s climate. The LT Court retails for Php 4,895.
