Best of Both Worlds: adidas and Reebok unveil the Instapump Fury Boost
Have you ever wondered what would happen if bring together the best of brands into one product? We’ve seen that happen with several brands before, but never of this magnitude. adidas and Reebok are joining forces once again to fuse their innovations into one with the Instapump Fury Boost.
adidas and Reebok are joining forces once again to fuse the best of both brands in the shape of the Instapump Fury Boost. Taking one of Reebok’s most iconic silhouettes and tweaking it with one of the most popular cushioning systems in the market: BOOST.
It’s been almost 15 years since the Brand with the Three Stripes acquired Reebok, and this move seems to come at the right time. The Instapump Fury debuted in 1994 with its sleek sandal-like design that stretched over a thin GraphLite shard that bridged a gaping Split Sole unit. The shoe exuded the epitome of modern minimalist design. Now pairing this design with adidas’ BOOST technology, the Instapump Fury Boost is created for a whole new generation, built for breaking free and creating the unexpected.
The Instapump Fury Boost will debut this Saturday, October 5th, at Atmoscon in Tokyo, Japan. The ‘Prototype’ will be available exclusively at the event and limited to just 50 pairs. The OG meets OG pack features the original colors of the Instapump Fury and the UltraBoost rendered on to the Instapump Fury Boost. The “Black & White” pack will be available in the Philippines this December exclusively at Sole Academy. The Instapump Fury Boost is slated to retail for Php 10,595. The two-piece pack features black and white uppers, coupled with Boost midsoles and gum outsoles. Keep it locked here for local release details.
