New: Rihanna’s FENTY x PUMA Creeper is back

RiRi’s on a roll.

After dropping several colorways of the cult classic Avanti, PUMA and Rihanna’s FENTY are back this December by bringing back the shoe that put her on the map – the Creeper. This time, the shoe’s bigger, bolder, and phatter than ever. Enter the Creeper Phatty.

The reimagined silhouette comes with oversized designs, stacked gum soles and bold pops of color. The shoe comes in full family sizing in three colorways. Now here’s what people are thinking — if the Creeper made its mark back in the day, why not just bring them back in the same styles? Rihanna wanted it back but in a bold and culturally relevant way. For those who saw them back in 2015, the Creeper was a platformed verison of the Suede.

This new iteration of the Creeper — the Creeper Phatty — comes in suede upper, with a padded and debossed formstrip, debossed Fenty logo (tongue) gold aglets and as mentioned earlier – a stacked gum sole.

“We took our OG Creeper and made it bigger and badder, ” said Rihanna. “When designing the Creeper Phatty we wanted to reinvent the OG Creeper that was loved by so many. It’s a classic silhouette that has been missed, so its return had to be bigger.” 

“The original Creeper changed the game for us,” said Maria Valdes, Chief Product Officer at PUMA.  “We knew it was time to bring it back. This shoe has universal appeal and we’ve seen tremendous consumer excitement for the silhouette to return. We are excited to not only be able to build upon the existing silhouette with the Creeper Phatty but also expand our offering to the entire family.” 

The FENTY x PUMA Creeper Phatty drops tomorrow, December 1, 2023 at PUMA stores in Glorietta (2F Glorietta 3), Shangri-la Plaza, Eastwood Mall, Venice Grand Canal Mall, and Ayala Center Cebu. The shoe will also be available across Capital (SM Aura/Trinoma/Festival Mall/Glorietta) and Footlocker (Glorietta, Filinvest, Seaside Cebu, Greenhills, Ayala Bay, Eastwood, Gateway, Ayala Capitol Bacolod and Trinoma) The shoe will also be available via PUMA.com.
