New: PUMA PH unveils the ‘Hoops Squad’ for Season 87
While PUMA’s been creating a whole lotta buzz with their product, the brand continues to make waves, this time on court with their ‘Hoops Squad’.
As a refresher, PUMA signed a couple of standout players to their basketball roster last season – Malick Diouf and Chicco Briones (UP), Patrick Yu and Jolo Manansala (NU), Xyrus Reyes and Jorick Bautista (FEU), Jack Cruz-Dumont and Gjerard Wilson (UE) last season, with the roster performing as expected.
With some of the squad moving on to the pros (Diouf and Reyes), PUMa’s added a couple more names to the roster – with each athlete representing the next generation of ballers as they play in Season 87. De La Salle’s Lian Ramiro, UP’s Quentin Millora-Brown lead this year’s crop along with FEU’s Jedric Daa, UE’s Precious Momowei, Adamson’s twins Austin and Cade Ronzone, and UST’s rookie big Zain Mahmood.
“We are excited to welcome these outstanding UAAP student athletes to our ‘Hoops Squad,’” said PUMA Philippines Country Manager Paolo Misa. These players will be pearing the latest PUMA gear both on and off the court (you’ve seen some of them on our KICK WATCH; see more via the Sole Movement IG).
