Onitsuka Tiger launches the Ultimate 81MP and the MonsterPiece series

It’s been a while since we’ve heard from Japanese brand Onitsuka Tiger but with 2021 looking a little better than 2020, it seems only right for them to unveil their latest collection that combines fashion with sports, and heritage with innovation.

Welcome the MonsterPiece Series. One of the key silhouettes of the collection is the Ultimate 81MP, a shoe that’s celebrating it’s 40th anniversary this year. The shoe initially dropped back in 1981 but now updated to fit the modern needs of today’s enthusiast.

The classic sneaker takes on a more minimalist design that fits today’s every man. One unique change to the Ultimate 81MP is the midsole which now is composed of two layers, which now addresses both fashion and comfort. Aside from the Ultimate 81MP, the MonsterPiece series also features the Fabre MP and the Rebilac Runner MP. Similar to the Ultimate 81MP, the name of the game here is versatility, which can be worn both for work and play.

The Ultimate 81MP is now available at Onitsuka Tiger stores at Greenbelt 5 and the Shangri-la Plaza Mall. The Fabre MP and Rebilac Rubber MP are available in select OT stores around the metro.
