The latest Cortez has Nike branding for days

Posted on Oct 5, 2018 in Nike

In the brand’s earlier years, Nike had a policy on the number of “Swooshes” you can use on a sneaker. Over the past few years, that rule is a thing of the past as we’ve seen overbranding become a thing. With the Off-White collaboration and most recently the Air Force 1 and Air Jordan 1 release, Nike’s taking brand elements to another level. Take this latest iteration of the Nike Cortez Premium as an example. When a band change like this becomes so noticeable, companies have to be aware of how they can market it to gain a strong following and make it more noticeable. Using helpful websites such as https://www.qualtrics.com/experience-management/brand/what-is-brand-awareness/ can aid in them making the right branding choices.

Done in classic black leather, the Nike Cortez Premium has branding and Nike trademarks all over. You’ll see at least 11 Nike Swooshes throughout the shoe, from the big Swoosh on both lateral and medial sides, the small one on the lateral toe box, and three by the heel with trademarks and Nike Sportswear. There are a couple more Swooshes found on the tongue, insole and outsole. There may be more, but we’ve yet to see the shoe up close.

If you’re all about the excessive branding and love for Nike, pick up the Nike Cortez today at the Athlete’s Foot. The Nike Cortez Premium retails for Php 4,995 and is now available at the following TAF locations – Alabang, Rockwell, Glorietta, Vertis, Parkade, Shangrila, and Cebu.
