The Air Max 180 ‘Ultramarine’ is back

The Air Max 180 is back. Last released in 2013 when Nike Sportswear released the Air Max icons (Air Max 1, Air Max 90, Air Max 180, Air Max 95, and Air Max 97 and the Air Max BW), the Air Max 180 ‘Ultramarine’ makes its return in 2018 in true OG form. Nike was definitely testing the boundaries of Air when they evolved the AM90 and the BW into the 180. The significance of the 180 was that the shoe marks the first time Nike featured 180 degrees of visible Air cushioning.

With the Air Max 97 being a big hit for 2017, could the Air Max 180 be 2018’s hit? The Nike Air Max 180 OG ‘Ultramarine’ drops tomorrow, February 2nd at select Nike doors and partner retailers such as The Athlete’s Foot and urban Athletics.
