No Tokyo, No Problem: Nike SB releases Tokyo-themed footwear
We should be watching the Summer Olympics right now. It would’ve been so cool to see all the new footwear and tech apparel across the different sports. Skateboarding was supposed to make their debut during the Tokyo games but now we have to wait a full year before this happens.
What happens to all these Olympic-themed footwear and country colorways?
Brands continue to release them regardless.
Nike SB was destined to make a splash with their Olympic collection and they decided to drop the pieces regardless earlier this week. Three of the four silhouettes are currently available on our shores – the Nyjah Free 2, the Shane and their latest sneaker – the Bruin React (the Janoski Slip is not available). Each pair comes in a Summit White/Racer Blue/Pink Blast colorway, all designed to match the US Skateboarding Team’s kits.
You can pick these pairs up now at nike.com/ph before they sell out. The Nike SB Nyjah Free 2 retails for Php 4,895, the Shane goes for Php 3,995 while the SB Bruin React runs up for Php 5,095. Check out the the pairs below for more detail.
