Nike releases an affordable lifestyle sneaker with the Vortak

Posted on Mar 27, 2018 in Nike

After a very successful Air Max-heavy month, we decided to go around and check out pairs you might’ve missed out on over this busy 30-day period. Outside of Nike‘s historic archive, Nike’s known to create a couple of new pairs every month that might suit your palette. First on our plate is the Nike Vortak. Upon first glance, the shoe seems to be a descendant of the Huarache, with its sock-like construction with its unique lacing and lightweight build. At some angles, the shoe also resembles the Y-3 Qasa or the adidas Tubular, but all these pairs can be summarized into one thing– they’re functional yet fashionable sneakers. The biggest knock I have about this shoe is the NIKE print on the heel. Seriously, would they really have saved a couple more dollars by this finish? Otherwise, I do appreciate the shoe’s fresh look.

The Nike Vortak is now available at select Nike doors, retailing for Php 4,495.
