Nike ISPA Air Max 720 + Apparel Collection
After introducing the line back in 2019, Nike’s ISPA looks at innovation to solve for the challenges of city life. Case in point for their latest release- the Nike ISPA Air Max 720. While using the tallest Air unit ever available, ISPA created a design to protect and safeguard it from bumps and bruises.
The ISPA Air Max 720’s design goes hard, using rubber traction pieces (similar to those found on the React Element 87 outsole) protecting the Air Max unit. The upper features tight mesh cutouts for better breathability. To add more function to the design, the ISPA Air Max 720 features a heel tab fastener which makes it easier to hang after use.
The Nike ISPA Inflate Jacket as the name suggests, is inflatable and waterproof, keeping you dry during your commute. In terms of the details, the right pocket features an internal bladder to pump the jacket up. On the other pocket, an air-release valve helps deflate the jacket. And if you don’t plan to inflate the jacket, an internal zip lets you remove the bladder.
Aside from ISPA Inflate Jacket and the ISPA Air Max 720, Nike’s also releasing the ISPA AW84 Cap. The adjustable cap uses a waterproof fabric, keeping it still breathable. The cap also features a foam sweatband to help keep you dry. Graphics found on the interior are a call to ISPA’s philosophy while the Nike AeroBill technology combines breathability with sweat-wicking comfort.
