New: Here’s a closer look at the Nike Invincible 3

Back in October, we took a trip to Nike BHS to check out the latest running silhouettes from Nike. Back then, the key highlight pairs were the Pegasus Turbo Next Nature and the Air Zoom Alphafly Next% 2. A couple of weeks ago, Nike sent over their latest running shoe with the highest level of comfort underfoot – the Nike Invincible 3.
Nike previously mentioned that the Invincible line works as a ‘catch-all’ sneaker. The shoe works for any type of runner – whether you’re a beginner, regular or an elite runner. The shoe’s supportive and bouncy, providing great feel and maximum cushioning throughout your run.
if you had a checklist of items you were looking for in a shoe, the Invincible 3 checks a lot (and i mean A LOT) of boxes. Here’s a breakdown of what benefits you get while wearing the Invincible 3:
Support
Support where you need it the most. Imagine a shoe with cushion and stability in one shoe, that’s what the Invincible 3 is about. The properly placed cushioning helps protect the foot from pronation.
Cushioning
The previous notion was that if the shoe is heavily cushioned, you’re lugging around a heavy shoe. This is the farthest from the truth with this one. The cushioning is crazy, as it helps soften the blows you take with every strike. ZoomX cushoining helps your foot rock easily, while keeping things comfy no matter how long the run is.
Responsiveness
Responsiveness is key to give you proper energy return with each step. The Nike ZoomX foam is quite responsive (and have I mentioned lightweight?), giving you more energy with less effort.
Fit
The Invincible 3 users an evolved version of Flyknit, with proper ventilation for better breathability. The knit is strong and durable, securing your foot with ease.
Aside from these key points, the shoe features a smaller heel clip, coupled with a wider midsole for better stability. If there’s anything outright obvious versus the previous iteration, it’s the thicker foam for cushioning and comfort.
