Nike brings back the Dunk High this season inspired by two cross-town rivals
After blessing us with team-based colorways of the Dunk Low this past season, it’s time for us to go high as we hit the cooler months of 2020. We’ve seen a lot of colorful iterations of the Dunk before but nothing beats the classics when you go with team-inspired colorways.
To banner in the Dunk High this season, Nike Sportswear takes two universities that are also cross-town rivals. With feather-light, full grain leather uppers and OG tooling, the Dunk High comes in ‘Spartan Green’ (an ode to the Michigan State Spartans) and ‘Varsity Maize & Blue’ (inspired by the Michigan Wolverines). The shoe also features the classic mesh tongue to go with the iconic BTTYS color-blocking.
The Nike Dunk High ‘Spartan Green’ drops today, September 18, via nike.com/ph while the ‘Maize & Blue’ colorway is set to drop on September 23. As posted the other day, Titan offered the ‘Spartan Green’ via their On-Demand Draw while Commonwealth teased the upcoming release on their website. The ‘Michigan’ colorway is slated to drop sometime next week if not the same day as nike.com. The Nike Dunk High retails for Php 6,445. Check out the official photos below.
