Nike Basketball releases the Hyperdunk X Low
About a week ago, we unboxed the latest edition of Nike Basketball‘s top-flight sneaker, the Nike Hyperdunk X Low. When Nike debuted the sneaker back in 2008, it was pretty groundbreaking. The shoe featured the brand’s latest innovation, Flywire. 10 years after, the Hyperdunk’s considered the penultimate team shoe and there’s a lot to note with this no-frills sneaker.
Unlike most signature silhouettes, Nike released both iterations of the sneaker upon its debut. Fans of low tops should be quite pleased with the Hyperdunk X Low, with its dynamic lacing system keeping your foot in place. The shoe also packs in Zoom Air at both the heel and forefoot for responsive cushioning. The wavy pattern on the outsole should provide great traction (although we’ve been experiencing some slippage during our wear test). One notable design element is the TPU wing at the midfoot. This helps provide support and stability. The first set of colorways come in black and white, with a speckled TPU wing for detail.
The Nike Hyperdunk X Low is now available and goes for Php 6,295. There’s also a Court Purple colorway available at select retailers. The Hyperdunk X Mid retails for Php 6,795.
