Nike adds to the lore of the Air Max Powerwall Series with this weekend’s release
Back in 2006, Nike celebrated thirty years of Air with the Powerwall Series. The ‘Wall’ featured some of the rarest Air Max models to ever come out of the series, ranging from special colorways of the Air Max 1, Air Max 90, Air Max 180, Air Max 93, Air Max 95, Air Max 97, Air Max 2003, and the Air Max 360. While everyone’s got their favorite from the series, a lot of people gravitated towards the ’87 which included the ‘Lemonade’.
The ‘Lemonade’ featured a shade of very light shade of green/lemon frost complemented by the scripted ‘Air’ throughout the quarter panels and heel. This weekend, Nike upgrades the Powerwall with the ‘Limeade’ Air Max 1s. Flipping the colors to show a pine green hue that resembles limes and reflective ‘Air’ panels, the ‘Limeade’ is sure to be one of the standout releases for 2020. The stylized insoles definitely add a touch to the overall pack.
The Nike Air Max 1 ‘Limeade’ drops tomorrow, September 19, via nike.com/ph. The shoe retails for Php 7,195. We’ve yet to get confirmation on a release across QS stockists.
