New: Nike Basketball just unveiled the Sabrina 4

Posted on Apr 10, 2026 in Nike

Man. Time flies when you’re winning. We were all in agreement when Nike established Sabrina Ionescu as one of their signature athletes and 4 years in, they haven’t disappointed us one bit. This year, the latest addition is no different.

Continuing to echo Ionescu’s own approach to her game, the Sabrina 4 features upgrades to level up the shoe players have grown to love and expect.

The Sabrina 4 tweaks the overall design of the silhouette, with key improvements found underfoot and upgrades to deliver comfort and responsive court feel.

“Seeing my shoe worn across all levels of the game tells me that we are creating shoes that basketball players really love. It takes a lot of work with my team at Nike to deliver footwear that can perform at this level and get better with each model,” Sabrina says. “Every year, I work on my game, finding any area of opportunity to add or improve. And that is exactly what we are doing with my shoe and my entire line — innovating in the right places while still keeping that Sabrina-feel that players everywhere know and love.”

Getting down to business, the 4 features a TPU FlyPlate, with the propulsion offering a feel similar to what a sprinter feels off the starting blocks. This, coupled with Air Zoom at the forefoot and Cushlon 3.0 at the midsole, this create support and stability needed for quicker reaction times on court.

The design also features a carved collar for heightened mobility, a perforated tongue for ultimate comfort and breathability, and a compression-molded vamp at the forefoot for a better fit. The mirror-finished Swooshes are an affirmation from Sabrina to athletes to see themselves in the shoe.

The upper also features a haptic print that references Sabrina’s Romanian heritage and craft. The print transforms from an ‘S’ to an ‘I’ from heel to forefoot. Similar to previous designs, the lowercase “i” can be found on the heel.

Aside from the Sabrina 4, the latest edition also comes with a fourth apparel collection. This time, Nike uses Aero-FIT cooling technology to the collection.

Aero‑FIT is Nike’s most advanced cooling apparel system, engineered at the yarn and stitch level to create a highly texturized knit that combines open and closed mesh zones to move air across the body and lift the fabric off the skin, helping athletes stay cool no matter how the game heats up. Aero-FIT is also made from 100 percent textile waste. This technology comes to life through Sabrina’s signature jersey and short. Her signature collection blends performance and sportswear, enabling play whenever and wherever the ball is rolled out.

Sabrina Ionescu unveiled the Sabrina 4 earlier this week while in China for her second Asia tour with Nike basketbll. The full collection is set to drop July 2026.
