New: More Energy Return with the Nike Pegasus 41

Posted on Apr 28, 2024 in Nike

If you thought the stretch the Air Jordan line has, the Nike Pegasus franchise is even further along. The shoe’s been around for over 40 decades and their latest iteration – the Nike Pegasus 41 – continues to provide the soft, responsive ride we’ve come to expect from the shoe and more.

Over the course of the shoe’s history, its performance has been relying heavily on Air Zoom units and foams. This year’s model now features a full-length Nike ReactX foam, which provides over 13% more energy return from the previous model. To support the cushioning system, the Pegasus 41 also features Air Zoom units in both the forefoot and heel.

Listening to the needs and feedback from everyday runners, the upper is made of engineered mesh, which is now lighter, more breathable and more comfortable than previous models. The shoe’s Dynamic Midfoot Fit system ties the lacing directly to an internal midfoot band wrapping around the entire foot for complete support.

As the Pegasus line is considered the shoe for the everyday runner, Nike’s created several iterations to further serve distinct needs, abilities or various terrains. The Pegasus EasyOn is designed for athletes of all abilities, but features a collapsible heel and toggle lacing system for easy slip in and out of the shoe. The Pegasus Trail 5, Pegasus Trail Gore-Tex and Pegasus Winter Gore-Tex were all made for the elements and various terrain.

Expect to see the Nike Pegasus 41 this June (2024) across nike.com and select partner retailers.
