New: Here’s a look at the 2024 National and Federation Kits by Nike
As we are a little over 2 months before the Summer Games in Paris, Nike recently unveiled the 2024 National and Federation Kits that will be worn during the games. Nike’s a partner to more than 100 federations across team and individual sports, as well as hundreds of individual athletes who will be competing this summer.
The new kits are the most athlete-informed, data-driven and visually unified the company has ever produced. Based on 4D motion-capture data, algorithmically honed with pixel-level precision, and engineered specifically for each competition, each kit was inspired by the distinct identities and diverse communities each country and sport represent.
Learning most from the athletes’ needs and feedback, Nike designed and obssessed on these details to provide the athlete with the best kits possible. “Nike designed the Paris 2024 track & field kits to offer athletes a range of silhouettes tailored for various sport disciplines, body types, and sizes, prioritizing performance and maximum breathability,” says John Hoke, Nike Chief Innovation Officer.
This partnership resulted in meeting athletes’ exact needs and specifications. “I’ve had the opportunity to share feedback and insights that helped inform the new USATF Kit,” says hurdler Anna Cockrell. “During testing, this fit allowed me to move freely and without distraction, and I love how the look represents Team USA.”
Combining Nike’s strengths in sport research and computational design with the Dri-FIT ADV platform, athletes will remain cool, dry and performance-ready this summer.
