Cactus Jack is back with the Air Max 270 ‘Cactus Trails’

Since the shoe leaked as early as December 2019, Nike officially unveiled the Nike x Travis Scott Air Max 270 ‘Cactus Trails’ last Friday. With the news and the launch of the ’90s-inspired website, the collab got the world buzzing again for this upcoming release.

The ‘Cactus Trails’ Air Max 270 React inspires imaginative time travel. Predominantly tan in its colorway and the ACG vibes, the shoe gives off that vintage feel, coupled with its well-worn look seen on its upper and React midsoles.

Getting a closer look at the shoe, the Air Max 270 boasts of Scott’s love for vintage apparel. From the materials used, to the polar fleece collar (maybe not the best for the PH) evokes that outdoor vibe we’ve seen with the other pairs from his collection. The oxidation of the upper, midsole, Air unit helps celebrate the beauty of a well-loved object’s patina — a look that can only be achieved over time. The custom tongue tab, lace locks and extra Swoosh by the mudguard completes the Cactus Trails look.

The Nike x Travis Scott Air Max 270 ‘Cactus Trails’ is set to release on Friday, May 29 across Nike’s retail network inlcuding our very own Commonwealth. The shoe retails for Php 8,545 with sizes ranging from 5-11.5. Commonwealth opens reservation via CopDate beginning today (May 26 12nn to May 28 11:59pm). Winners will be randomly selected and notified via CopDate and email.

There are also kids (PS) and toddler (TD) versions of the Air Max 270 ‘Cactus Trails’ which feature a reverse Swoosh, a design exclusive to these sizes. Aside from the Air Max 270 ‘Cactus Trails’, an apparel collection featuring a hoodie, sweatpants, and a t-shirt will be made available across SNKRS and the retail network.
