New Balance re-tools the 574 Sport

Back in 2017, New Balance updated their iconic sneaker, the 574. Going with geometric accents and their Fresh Foam cushioning, the 574 Sport is a modern take on the classic every day sneaker. I was pretty impressed with the sneaker’s cushioning, even voting it one of the better all around sneakers of the year.

As we end 2018, New Balance updates the sneaker once again. While the shoe looks a lot like last year’s updated look, there are some changes to the 574 Sport. The most glaring update is the sneaker’s new midsole. Sure it still made up of Fresh Foam, but instead of doing a one-piece midsole, the 574 Sport now comes in two sections, providing better support and articulation to an already perfect sneaker. To kick things off for the new silhouette, New Balance brings out the iconic colorways of the 574 with the Vintage Pack. Done in Grey, Navy, Black and Silver, the 574 Sport stays true to the brand’s heritage but brings in a modernized look for today’s sneaker aficionado.

The New Balance 574 Sport V2 ‘Vintage Pack’ is now available at Sneak Peek (Alabang Town Center) and New Balance (Trinoma) for Php 6,995.
