MADE: the New Balance 992 is finally available in the Philippines
Originally release back in 2006, the 992 finally gets reissued for the first time since its release. Ever since they dropped earlier this year, partner brands and retailers such as WTAPS, JJJJound, KITH and Joe Freshgoods have created amazing collaborations with the classic silhouette. After months of waiting for a local release, the 992 Made is finally here.
For those not too familiar with the 992, the shoe features the brand’s Abzorb SBS cushioning, with premium suede uppers paired with mesh inserts and synthetic overlays. One of the most recognizable users of the 992 was the late Apple founder Stever Jobs, often wearing his NBs daily and seen on his feet during the Apple launch events.
To kick things off locally, the new MADE in the USA 992 comes in Tan and is now available at select New Balance stores (Glorietta, Trinoma, ATC, BHS, Marquee Mall, Ayala Cebu) around the metro. The OG grey colorway is set to drop soon but if you’re looking to get a pair soon, the shoe retails for Php 12,995.
