Mizuno’s Wave Catalyst 2 is your next performance running shoe

Over the last decade, we’ve seen a running boom run throughout the country. Brands have introduced technology that aids you — the runner — with the right tools to improve yourself. Mizuno PH recently unveiled the Wave Catalyst 2 as part of their latest performance running shoes this month.

Performance runners are built with a lower profile midsole (read: less cushioning) to provide you a more responsive ride. With the Wave Catalyst 2, you get a responsive performance shoe but a lot of support where it is needed the most. Utilizing the brand’s U4ic midsole, the shoe offers more bounce and durability for those daily runs. To make the shoe training friendly, Mizuno replaced the upper with a more breathable engineered mesh, keeping the shoe lightweight. Mizuno’s Run Bird logo and soft poly urethane printed overlays are strategically placed around the arch and heel for better support. The shoe features a boatload of tech making the shoe one of the most affordable performance runners in the market.

The Mizuno Wave Catalyst 2 comes in Blue and Red for men, while the women’s colorway comes in Teal. The shoe retails for Php 5,995 and is now available at Mizuno stores and stockists everywhere.
