Mizuno introduces the Wave Shadow
Aside from releasing the Wave Catalyst 2, Mizuno also unveiled their latest shoe in their neutral line, the Mizuno Wave Shadow. While the Wave Catalyst 2 provides support, the Wave Shadow works best for neutral runners. The shoe is fast, lightweight, highly responsive and well-cushioned to help the runner run further.
The Wave Shadow is the perfect blend of speed and comfort. With its 8mm heel drop (vs the Catalyst’s 10mm), you do get that low-to-the-ground feel of a racing shoe but cushioned enough for daily runs. You’ll notice several differences with the shoe compared to the Wave Catalyst 2. The outsole features zigzag flex grooves in the forefoot for flexibility and fast response. The heel and midfoot features X10 tech, which provides better durability for midfoot landings. Mizuno also introduces the Cloudwave design for a softer, smoother, and more responsive ride for neutral runners. You’ll also notice a one-piece mesh upper construction for better breathability and seamless fit.
The Mizuno Wave Shadow is now available at Mizuno stores and stockists for Php 5,995. The shoe comes in Director Blue/Safety Yellow for men and Blue Topaz/Fiery Coal for women. Keep it locked here in the coming days for our wear test.
