New: Merrell just released the Moab Speed 2

Just a while back, we mentioned that we are sensing a shift in the industry, with styles becoming more of a catch-all situation. We’ve seen brands either hash out more products than ever before, or with brands crossing over from performance to street on the regular. Merrell, more known for their outdoor products, just released their latest shoe, the Moab Speed 2. While made for hiking, the shoe fits right in to everyday, streetwear.

While I am not as famliar with the technical aspect of Merrell’s footwear, I must say that the Moab Speed 2 can definitely hag with the best of ’em. From its design language and color blocking, the shoe’s sure to stand out in any environment. For its initial offering, the shoe comes Beluga, Olive and Black.

If you want to know more of what’s under the hood, the Moab Speed 2 boasts of several features that’ll surely bring out the best from Merrell. The lightweight FlexPlate™ technology provides superior torsional rigidity while a FloatPro™ Foam midsole brings in the comfort when you set foot on any terrain. For the shoe’s outsole, they used Vibram® TC5+ for traction.
