Release Reminder: Air Jordan III Retro ‘Knicks’

We’ve seen Retros, Tinkers and several colorways inspired by Team Jordan athletes. Today, we’re getting another iteration of the Air Jordan III recalling one of MJ’s storied rivals during his heyday.

The Air Jordan III debuted in ’88, and was one of the best years of MJ as rising star in the league. Like all the greats, he had matchups and teams that were top-billed and considered must-see TV. One of those teams of course is the New York Knicks. The Air Jordan III comes in white tumbled leather with the classic elephant print on the heel, toe and eyestays. Orange and blue accents are found throughout, reminiscent of the Knicks’ team colorways. On the inside tongue, the date 04/08/88 is stitched on, commemorating MJ’s 40-piece against the Knicks.

The Air Jordan III ‘Knicks’ is releasing today, October 15, at Nike.com and Jordan stockists such as Titan. The shoe retails for Php 9,445.
