New: The Jordan Luka 2 is here
Another MVP-type season in the books for Slovenian sensation and All-Star Luka Doncic. With the success of his first signature shoe (Luka 1), Jordan Brand follows it up with a shoe fit for his unique playing style.
Luka’s always under control, quick to separate from his defender and possesses a court vision like no other. The Luka 2 reflects this, with a design language made to maximize movements while creating separation from opponents.
The Luka 2 features a full-length Formula 23 foam as well as the IsoPlate, both working together with the help of a media wedge of Cushlon 3.0 foam. This puts the foot at an angle, further aiding the player with moves just like Luka’s step back jumper.
Looking closer at the shoe’s midsole, the Formula 23 foam rests underneath the foot, while surrounded by a firm foam carrier. The soft medial foam wedge is found on the medial side while the latest IsoPlate raises the lateral sidewall for balance.
The Luka 2 is set to release in the Luk.AI colorway on July 5 for select Nike Members and July 11 for Jordan.com and select retailers. The shoe comes in a black/purple colorway with glow-in-the-dark accents and speckles for that futuristic look.
Check out the upcoming colorways below, due to drop in the coming months.
Quai 54 celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, with the colors inspired by Pan-Africanism, with a unique pattern representing a double X, signaling the streetball tournament’s 20 years. The shoe is set to drop June 23 in Europe, globally on July 8.
The ‘Nebula’ colorway borrows its hues from one of Luka’s favorite PEs made for the Air Jordan XXXV Low – ‘Cosmic Deception’. The shoe is set to drop July 27.
The Matador colorway takes inspiration from Doncic’s early career in Spain. The colorway also appeared in other PEs and the Luka 1. The ‘Matador’ drops August 3.
This colorway is made with at least 20% sustainable materials. The shoe uses recycled foam on the tongue, a foam carrier in the tooling and stitched elements in the upper. The ‘Lake Bled’ colorway is set to drop September 14.
