New: Air Jordan just unveiled the Air Jordan 40
In case you missed it, Jordan Brand officially unveiled the Air Jordan 40 a few days ago. The brand prides itself in creating the best shoe they can offer across their sneaker line, and this is no different. Designed for today’s game and for the next generation.

Being there from the beginning, it’s quite hard to fathom a world without the Air Jordan. It’s been 4 decades since Nike debuted the Air Jordan and the latest iteration brings together a full-length Nike ZoomX foam coupled with a full Zoom Strobel, providing responsiveness we’ve never seen before on the Air Jordan. ZoomX foam’s the lightest and most responsive foam we’ve seen from the brand, bringing 85% energy return. The Zoom Strobel then provides additional responsivess in the cushioning and propulsion for explosiveness.

In terms of support and protection, the Air Jordan 40 features webbing that provides 360-degree containment; the traction pattern is comprised of 40-degree angles designed to help hoopers to start and stop on a dime.

One interesting detail to the 40 is that it’s logo is designed entirely of 40-degree angles, the same pattern found on the herringbone traction pattern. Throughout the year, expect to see nine (9) unique colorways, with each featuring unique materials used on the upper.
The Air Jordan 40 will be available beginning July 12th across select retail locations.
