Jordan pays homage to the alternative rock scene with this month’s Defiant release

Earlier this year, Jordan Brand released the first pair from their Air Jordan 1 Defiant line with the Couture. The line focuses on new takes on the classic black/red colorway we associate with the legendary sneaker. This weekend, JB adds another pair to the mix, this time paying homage to the alternative rock scene. The red Swoosh takes inspiration from the DIY stitching and removable patches seen on leather jackets. The black leather used on the upper and the yellow Swoosh on the medial side pay hoamge to the ’80s album colors and irreverent streetwear that defined the alternative scene of that era.

The Air Jordan 1 High OG Defiant drops tomorrow, July 27, at Titan. The shoe retails for Php 8,545.
