Footscape Vibes: the Jordan Crater is here
With everyone going crazy over Nike’s Move to Zero/Sustainable products such as the Space Hippie and the Air Vapormax 2020 Flyknit, Jordan Brand joins in with the release of the Jordan Crater.
Before you say anything, I know what you’re thinking — don’t they look a lot like the Air Footscape? We’re huge fans of the cult classic and we definitely see a rebirth through this shoe. From the off-center lacing to the pre-Free sole unit, the Jordan Crater is definitely an homage to the Footscape but made better for the future.
As Nike, Converse and Jordan Brand race to reduce their carbon footprint, the Jordan Crater was created with at least 20% recycled content. The upper’s textiles are made with 100% recycled polyester, stripped down to reduce adhesives while the durable outsole is made with recycled Nike Grind rubber.
The Jordan Crater is now available at nike.com/ph for Php 7,795. Aside from the sneaker, Jordan Brand also created a Jordan Crater Slide (see below). The Crater Slide retails for Php 3,995.
