East Meets West is the theme with CLOT’s sophomore effort with Jordan Brand

Posted on Feb 9, 2021 in Jordan Brand

After last year’s Terracotta Air Jordan XIIIs, CLOT’s co-founder Edison Chen continues with the east meets west theme for the brand’s sophomore effort with Jordan Brand. Similar to Titan’s Air Jordan XX3 and XXXV offering, CLOT goes with Air Jordan XIV Low and the Air Jordan XXXV this season.

Both pairs focus on Chinese Heritage, with the Chinese knot and coin pendant found on the XIV Low while the XXXV features ornamental jade hits on the XXXV. Today, we’re focusing on the Air Jordan XIV Low.

Aside from the aforementioned pendant and knot, the tongue has details reminiscent of traditional Chinese scrolls that feature Jordan and CLOT. The soles of the XIV Low have terracotta accents paired with light tan and grey.

On the pendant, a classic symbol of “如意吉祥,” which is a Chinese idiom for prosperity and happiness. T coin is an ode to CLOT’s Chinese heritage and a token to bring luck to the game.

The Air Jordan XIV Low x CLOT drops today at Titan via On-Demand Raffle and retails for Php 10,195. Titan will be accepting entries beginning 11am today. The shoe will also be available at Jordan Manila.
