Check It: More colorways for the Air Jordan XXXVI
Earlier, we shared the news of the latest release from Jordan Brand, the Air Jordan XXXVI. With the ‘First Light’ colorway being the hero colorway for the sihouette, here are a couple of PEs or special player colorways that will be available around the globe where it would cater to the athlete’s key market. Expect to see these drop over the next few weeks!
Air Jordan XXXVI ‘Glory’
The Air Jordan XXXVI ‘Glory’ actually debuted a couple of weeks ago during the Semifinals of the Olympics, as worn by Nicolas Batum when they faced Luka Doncic and Slovenia. The shoe drops today (August 16) and August 17 in Greater China. On a greater scale, the ‘Glory’ colorway is inspired by MJ’s continued path to greatness, the shoe celebrates the wins on the hardwood and in the community.
Air Jordan XXXVI ‘Global Game’ for Guo Ailun
While we didn’t see these debut on court during the Olympics (China sadly didn’t qualify this time around), you’ll definitely see these on court worn by Guo Ailun as he plays in the CBA. The shoe also drops tomorrow, August 17 for Greater China.
Air Jordan XXXVI ‘Global Game’ for Kia Nurse
Similar to other Team Jordan athletes, Canada’s Kia Nurse got to wear her PE during the Tokyo Olympics. This clean white/red colorway drops tomorrow (August 17) throughout Canada and Jumpman LA in Los Angeles.
Air Jordan XXXVI ‘Global Game’ for Jayson Tatum
Jayson Tatum was one of the standout players for Team USA and he rocked special colorways of the Air Jordan XXXVI throughout the Summer Games. This special PE drops August 21 in North America.
Air Jordan XXXVI ‘Global Game’ for Rui Hachimura
The hosts of the Summer Games surprised everybody as they battled during the group stages. Rui Hachimura led team Japan and he had these on feet during the games. If you’re looking for this colorway, these drop August 22 throughout Asia and Latin America.
Air Jordan XXXVI ‘Global Game’ for Luka Doncic
Luka Magic! Doncic had an amazing run throughout the summer for Slovenia and he had these special colorway on his feet. This Slovenia/Mavs colorway drops September 4 throughout Asia, Latin America and Europe.
Air Jordan XXXVI ‘First Light’
This year’s hero colorway drops August 29 in Greater China and September 2 throughout the globe. Following the brand’s mantra of doing things that haven’t been done before, Jordan continues to bring new light to the game with the international athletes that continue to redefine the game. Drawing inspiration from ultraviolet rays, the ‘First Light’ celebrates the brand’s future, as they brighten the way for the next generation of athletes across the world.
Air Jordan XXXVI ‘Psychic Energy’
For more Jordan purists, this might be up your alley. Dressed in MJ’s classic team colorways, the ‘Psychic Energy’ colorway drops September 16 globally. Similar to the previous pairs, the Air Jordan VI has a special place in the family tree, as it was the sneaker worn by MJ when he won his first of six championships in 1991. Paying homage to the Jordan VI and his six rings, ‘Psychic Energy’ is an acknowledgement of the Jordan legacy and the extrasensory perception of those who carry it.
