New: JD Sports just opened their Glorietta location

The King of Trainers is now in Makati. After opening their first door last month at the Mall of Asia, JD Sports, UK’s leading sneaker and sports retailer, just opened their second store at Glorietta 2 earlier today.

“The opening of our Glorietta store marks another key moment in JD Sports’ growth in Southeast Asia,” said Hilton Seskin, CEO of JD Sports APAC. “Together with our partner, SSI Group, we are excited to bring JD’s unique retail experience and exclusive product offering to more Filipino consumers.”

The 561 sqm space is massive, and aims to deliver JD Sports’ full lifestyle experience, from exclusive sneaker releases to full streetwear collections. The new store will carry a lot of the most sought after pairs in the market, but more importantly are the ONLY at JD exclusive products. Big box stores like JD carries store/colorway exclusives, making special colorways only available through their stores.

While the torrential rains have been a bother, opening weekend at the Glorietta store has a lot of special promotions lined up. JD also is occupying the Activity Center, offeirng special activities, customization stations as well as shoe cleaning from our friends at Crep Protect. Brands like adidas, New Balance, Nike, and Puma will be offering perks with every purchase.
