Converse releases special collection with Suicidal Tendencies
With so many things happening this past weekend, we were surprised to see this pack release locally. Converse, the rockstar’s staple, collaborated with the godfather’s of crossover metal thrash Suicidal Tendencies. The release is just in time for the release of their album – “STill Cyco Punk After All These Years.”
The special footwear and apparel collection celebrates the 35th anniversary of the band’s debut record and frontman Mike Muir’s love for Converse. Through digital and screen-printed graphics, the Converse Chuck 70 and accompanying apparel become a canvas for original artwork in the style of RxCx, who designed posters and flyers for the band in the 1980s.
The band’s survived several member changes but one thing holds true — they are hardcore. The Converse x Suicidal Tendencies collection is now available at Converse Greenbelt, Converse Glorietta and Commonwealth (footwear only). Check out the collection below on what’s available in the PH:
