YZY SZN: adidas YEEZY QNTM ‘Barium’

After debuting the silhouette during the 2020 All-Star Weekend in Ye’s hometown of Chicago, adidas is releasing another colorway for the YEEZY QNTM (Quantium) ‘Barium’.

With Kanye having a couple of lifestyle pairs to his name, Ye and adidas decided to fill up the gaps with their releases for 2020 (Yeezy Slide, MNVN, 380 and the Foam Runner). The QNTM is the brand’s basketball-inspired silhouette (we did see Zach Lavine wear them during the 3-Point Shootout) and it does follow the same design language of the other silhouettes from the line. We’ve yet to see the shoe in person, but the padding, and the overall tooling of the shoe seems like a solid option. The grey lines flow throughout the rest of the upper as it provides a contrast to its jacquard underlay. The toe features a synthetic suede toe for better protection and padding. Like other YEEZY silhouettes, the shoe features a full-length drop-in BOOST midsole for comfort and energy return.

The adidas YEEZY QNTM ‘Barium’ drops tomorrow via adidas.com.ph/yeezy and retail for Php 15,000. If you’re eyeing the pair, the shoe releases at 11am.
