What’s New: The much-awaited adidas Crazy 1 is dropping this weekend

After seeing adidas star Jalen Green rock them during his Manila Tour, the big question on people’s minds were — are the adidas Crazy 1s releasing soon?

Yes they are.

Actually, a couple of pairs shock dropped on the e-commerce store (adidas.com.ph) a little over a month ago and got people thirsty for more.

Erik Lund Neilsen’s design for the Crazy 1 (initially called the Kobe 1 when Bean was still with the Three Stripes) was inspired by the Audi TT, a car with the curviest of edges. The design definitely stood out amongst hoop shoes back then, with its molded synthetic upper coupled with its adiPRENE+ midsole. True to form during that era, the Crazy 1 features a Torsion system. We’ve seen the Crazy 1 drop several times over the last few years, with the last one being 2019 (Star Wars pack).

This Saturday, the OG white/black colorway aka the “Stormtrooper” makes its return here in the PH. The adidas Crazy 1 will be made available on a first-come, first-serve basis at the adidas Brand Center (Glorietta) and Titan Fort (BGC), and will retail for Php 8,000.
