PUSHING THINGS FORWARD: adidas Torsion X

As we have been celebrating 30 years of Torsion this 2019, adidas Originals is also looking towards the next chapter of the system with its upcoming releases. This coming weekend, adidas Originals is releasing the Torsion X – a bold silhoutte that draws inspiration from other timeless silhouettes from the Three Stripes.

Upon first glance, you’ll notice the tongue and circular eyestays are similar to the Yeezy 500, while the plastic tubing around the laces are reminiscent of the Ozweego and LXCON. The layered upper is a definite call back to the late 90s design, while the midsole is split three ways for better flexibility throughout the shoe. With Boost cushioning to boot, the Torsion X is sure to be comfy ride while staying aggressive all season long. Another interesting detail to the shoe is the X-shaped support bar which lets your foot move naturally for easy comfort.

The adidas Torsion X is set to drop this coming Saturday, September 14 via adidas PH online as well as select adidas Originals Neighborhood stores and partner stockists. The shoe retails for Php 11,000.
