New: the adidas x NBHD Superstar is back

adidas Originals started June strong when they released their latest collaboration with Japanese streetwear brand NEIGHBORHOOD – the NBHD Superstar ‘Cement Grey’. While the shoe was a hit across loyalists, we weren’t ready for this one — the return of the brand’s first Superstar release from 2005.

For better appreciation, the adidas Superstar celebrated its 35th anniversary which included created executions and collaborations with key artists, retailers and brands. NEIGHBORHOOD’s rendition of the Superstar was billed as one of the most coveted releases from the pack. With only a 300-pair release, it was next to impossible to come across a pair these days.

To celebrate the brand’s own 30th anniversary, both adidas Originals and NBHD bring the storied silhouette back as close as to the release from 2005. The matte black leather upper features contrast stitching, leather lining and sockliners. The iconic NBHD skull is still on the heel, coupled with a debossed white print of the NEIGHBORHOOD logo. The heel also showcases a “2” written in Kanji, as well as multiple lace options for a different look.

The adidas Superstar NEIGHBORHOOD 2005 is set to drop this Saturday, June 22nd for Php 9,500. The shoe will be available via the adidas app, adidas.com.ph and atmos PH.
